Portland International Airport is regularly rated one of the country's best airports.

The great thing about the Yamhill Valley is that its away from the big city, a quiet escape from the fast-paced metropolis. To get here, you should consider renting a car.

Here’s some information about regional airports, care rentals and more to make your travel planning a little easier.

FLYING

McMinnville has a municipal airport, but unless you have a pilot’s license and are charting
your own course, you will need to take a commercial flight to nearby Portland (PDX) or Eugene (EUG).

Portland International Airport - Oregon’s premier airport was ranked by the prestigious Conde’ Nast Traveler as the No. 1 American airport, based on customer satisfaction surveys. This comes as no surprise to us; we fly through PDX and we enjoy coming home.

The airport is approximately 50 miles from downtown McMinnville.
