As caretakers of their rural lands, Yamhill Valley winegrowers are among the most environmentally conscious members of an industry that has become more courageously “green” in recent years.
Organically grown grapes are part of a “whole-farm” passion for biodynamic practices that define more and more of the local industry. That high level of environmental stewardship runs from growing to harvesting, from winemaking to packaging, from product transportation to social consciousness.
As these stories show, “Going Green” is more than a catch-phrase in the Yamhill Valley wine industry.
